Photos and image processing

Selected photos are decoded and processed locally in your browser. Stillroom does not send the selected image, filename or image pixels to a server. Photo data remains in page memory during use. Leaving or refreshing the page clears the editing session. Downloads are saved through your browser to your device.

Information used to serve the website

Requests for website pages and bundled example images go to the website host. The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP address, user agent and access times, to deliver and secure the website. Those website requests do not contain your selected photos.

Cookies and analytics

This version does not include analytics, advertising scripts, tracking cookies or browser storage for photo data. Hosting or private-preview authentication can have its own privacy practices.

Your selected language is saved locally as a preference. No photo data is stored with it.

Advertising

Advertising is not enabled in this version. If advertising is introduced, this policy will be updated and applicable consent controls will be provided before ad scripts are enabled. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this or other websites. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to personalize ads.

You can manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center and learn more in Google’s advertising privacy information. Future advertising vendors and opt-out links will be identified here when they are enabled.

Contact messages

If you email us, your email provider and the recipient’s provider process the message. We use the information you send to respond to your inquiry. Do not send sensitive photos or personal information unless necessary.

Your choices
